Ingredients

  • 2 junket tablets
  • 1 Tbs. water
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 qt. milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve the junket tablets in the water.
Mix together the beaten eggs, sugar, flour and half the milk.
Heat the other half of the milk. Add the junket. Let stand 5 – 6 minutes. Combine with the egg/milk mixture. Pour in a greased 9 x 13” pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 325° for 30 – 40 minutes.
