CRANBERRY WALNUT SQUARES

THIS IS A TWO PART RECIPE:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare and bake Cookie Crust.

Ingredients

  • 3 TBSP butter melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C Karo Light syrup
  • 1 C Sugar
  • 2 C cranberries chopped (fresh are best but you can use frozen)
  • 1 C Walnuts (toasted 325 for 5 - 7 minutes) chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare and bake Cookie Crust. Meanwhile in a large bowl beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar and butter until blended. Stir in cranberries and walnuts. Pour over crust: spread evenly. Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. NOTE: YOU CAN USE PECANS INSTEAD OF WALNUTS.
