Seven Minute Frosting

Very good on Mocha Dot Cake when you use coffee in place of water.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar (white or brown)
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 egg whites
- 3 Tbsp water (use strong coffee if making for mocha dot cake)
- 1/8 tsp salt.
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Place all but vanilla in top of double boiler, over rapidly boiling water.
Beat for about 7 minutes or until frosting holds its shape. Remove from boiling water.
Blend in vanilla. Beat smooth in bowl. Frost cooled cake layers and dot with chocolat bits, if using for Mocha Dot Cake
