Ingredients
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 cup wine vinegar
- 10 whole peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 3 pounds chicken or pork, cut up
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup white wine or beer
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
Step 1
Season chicken or pork with salt and pepper.
Place in a pan. Mix together all other ingredients, except oil and pour over the chicken or pork.
Bring to a boil. Simmer with cover slightly off until meat is tender and all liquid has evaporated.
Add oil to the pan and saute meat until all sides are brown. Remove bay leaves.
