  • 2 T oil
  • 2 ½ lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes, (about 6) peeled, coarsely shredded
  • 1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Step 1



Heat oven to 400. Brush oil onto bottom and up sides of 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Combine all remaining ingredients except egg. Add egg; mix lightly. Press onto bottom of baking dish. Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting to serve.
