No one else in the house had the stomach for these sweets besides Janet.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. light karo
  • 1 lb. (4 1/2 c.) sifted confectioner's sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Stir the margarine, karo and half of the sugar in a saucepan over low heat till bubbly throughout., Quickly stir in the remaining sugar and vanilla. Remove from the heat. Stir till the mixture holds shape. Cool to lukewarm in a greased pan. Knead the mixture and then form into candy balls.
