Ingredients

  • MIX TOGETHER:
  • 2 TBSP. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Cups brown sugar
  • ADD :
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1/2 Cup honey
  • Microwave for 5 minutes on high
  • Stir In:
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • POUR OVER:
  • 8 Cups rolled oats (whole)
  • 2 TO 3 cups Nuts or Seeds (walnuts, almonds,pecans, sunflower or pumpkin)
  • 1 pkg. coconut shredded
  • OPTIONAL: ADD LAST 15 MINUTES OF BAKING!!
  • Raisins or dryed fruit.
  • CRUSH TOGETHER WHEN PUTTING ON PARCHMENT LINED COOKE SHEETS.

Preparation

Step 1

1. Roast nuts first 325 degrees for 5 minutes
2. Mix spices with brown sugar
3. Microwave for 5 minutes brown sugar, spices, water,& honey.
4. After taking out of microwave add salt and vanilla and stir.
5. Pour over oats, nuts, and seeds. Fold together.

Bake 275 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.

Cool
