Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Crisco Shortning
- 1-1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 TB milk
- 1 TB vanilla
- 1 lg. egg
- 1-3/4 cup flour (King Arthur)
- 3/4 teas baking soda
- 1/2 teas salt
- 1/4 teas cinnamon
- 3/4 cup toffee baking bits (use whole bag)
- 1/2 cup Nutella

Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine peanut butter, shortning, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat with mixer at medium speed until well blended. Add egg. Beat until just blended.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in medium bowl. On low speed, add to creamed mixture. Mix just until blended. Stir in toffee bits. Add Nutella, swirling gently with spatula. Do not over mix. Drop by rounded tablespponfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Do not over bake. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
