Bacon & Carmelized Onion Asparagus

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 ½ lb. Asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 T water
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • 1/3 cup Ranch dressing

Step 1



Cook bacon until crisp. Drain bacon on paper towels. Discard drippings from pan but do not wash skillet. Place asparagus in microwave dish and add water. Microwave on high 4-5 minutes or until asparagus is tender crisp. Meanwhile add onions to skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender-crisp. Stir in dressing. Drain asparagus. Top with sauce and crumbled bacon.
