Orange Drop

Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 1 cup shortning
• 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tea vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 2 tea baking powder
• 12 tea salt
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 tea baking soda
• 1 tb grated orange rind
• 2 cup powdered sugar
• 3 tb orange juice
• 3 tb melted butter
• 1 tea orange rind

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shorning and brown sugar
Add eggs and vanilla
Blend flour, baking powder and salt and alternate with mixture of buttermilk, baking soda and orange rind.

Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes

Frosting:
Combine posdered sugar, orange juice, butter and orange rind. Ice cooled cookies
