Banana Apple Butter Bread

  • 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp nutme
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil



Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour the bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan; set aside. In a large mixin bowl stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and nutme. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, set aside.

2. In another bowl, combine the egs, sugar, banana, apple butter, and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened. Spoon batter into the prepared pan.

3. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely on a wire rack. Wrap and store overnight before slicing. Makes 1 loaf.
