Beef Stroganoff Casserole

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 ¼ C. dry white wine, or chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 ½ C. sour cream
  • 1 T. Dijon mustard
  • 4 C. cooked egg noodles



Step 1

Cook hamburger with salt and pepper, drain and set aside.

Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add mushrooms, garlic and onion; cook and stir until onion is tender. Add chicken broth. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in soup, sour cream and mustard until combined. Return beef to skillet. Mix noodles with beef mixture. Place in greased 9x13. Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
