Ingredients

  • 1 * 1 and 3/4 cups insifted flour
  • 1 * 1 and 1/2 cups of confectionary sugar
  • 1/2 * 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 * 1 cup cold margerine
  • 1 * 1 8oz. cream cheese, sofened
  • 1 * 1 14oz. Eagle condensed milk
  • 1 * 1 egg
  • 2 * 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 * 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. combine flour, sugar, and cocoa into large bowl.
3. cut in margerine until crimbly (mixture will dry)
4. reserve 2 cups crumb mixture, press remainder firmly on bottom of 9 by 13-inch pan
5. bake 15 min.
6. in large bowl, beat cheese until fluffy.
7. gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
8. add egg and vanilla,mix well. pour over prepared crust.
9. combine nuts w/ reserved crumb mixture,sprinkle over cheese mixture.
10. bake 25 min. or until bubbly.
11. cool and chill.
12. cut into bars.
13. store covered in refrigerater.
