Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups confectionaries sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Coat 2 baking sheets with non stick cooking spray. Whisk flour, b. power, B. soda & salt together. Set aside. Beat butter & sugar together til well blended. Add egg, ricotta cheese & vanilla - beat til combined.
On low speed, add flour mixture and beat til blended.
Drop by tablespoonful on pans.
Bake 350 for 14 mins. or lightly browned.
Let cool about 3 mins. Remove to rack to cool.

Glaze: Beat conf. sugar & milk together until well blended. Dip tops of cookies into glaze & set aside til glaze hardens.
