Chow mein hotdish

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger, fried and crumbled
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 2 lg. onion, diced
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans water
  • 3 oz. soy sauce
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • --------------------------------------------
  • Chow mein noodles (for topping)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a small roaster. Bake. When serving, sprinkle top with chow mein noodles. Add water if dryness occurs before rice is completely cooked. Bake for approx. 1 ½ hours at 350 degrees.
