Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion / diced
  • 3 stalks of celery / chopped
  • 1 large carrot / julienned
  • 2 gloves of garlic
  • 2 (1.45 oz ) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz ) red kidney beans / with liquid
  • 1 (15 oz ) Northern beans /with liquid
  • 1 (12 oz 0 can of V8 juice
  • 1 (10 oz 0 can tomato sauce/ or 10 oz tomato puree
  • 1 T white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1.2 lb ( package ) Ditali pasta

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat.
Add onion,carrot,celery,garlic and saute 10 min.
Add the rest of the ingredients except pasta.
Simmer 1 hour.
Cook pasta for 10 min and add in last.
Simmer longer.
