Ingredients
- FOR FROSTING
- 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- FOR BROWNIES
- 1 pkg fudge brownie mix
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 6 T butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 T all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups frosting
Preparation
Step 1
FOR FROSTING
Beat ingredients in medium mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
FOR BROWNIES
Preheat oven to 350°.
Coat 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Mix fudge brownie batter according to box directions.
Evenly spread 2/3 of the fudge brownie batter into baking dish and set aside.
Lightly beat two eggs in a small mixing bowl.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, sugar, flour, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs and beat on low speed until combined.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over brownie batter, then top with remaining reserved brownie batter.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs. Brownies may still appear moist.
Set brownies aside on a wire rack and allow to cool completely. Spread frosting over brownies, and cut to serve.
Swirl the two batters together with a table knife.
