Honey-Mustard Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1 c. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 T. Dijon mustard
  • 1 T. honey
  • 1/2 t. coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 t/ freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer the balsamic vinegar in a small nonstick saucepan until reduced by half and syruplike, at least 10 minutes. Let cool to room tempwerature.

Place the balsamic syrup in a smll jar or sealable plastic container. Add the oil, mustard, honey, salt, and pepper, and shake until well blended.
