Ingredients

  • Topping Mix:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 small can coconut (3 1/2 oz)
  • 1 small can chopped nuts (walnuts) (3 1/2 oz)
  • Batter:
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 tsp baking soda sifted
  • 3 cups flour sifted

Preparation

Step 1

1. With fork, cream butter with sugar, then add vanilla, salt, eggs (1 at a time) (beat each egg) then beat everything till smooth and creamy.

2. Add sour cream, gradually add "sifted" flour and baking soda.

3. Grease oblong pan and pour in 1/2 of the batter--then sprinkle half of the topping mix.

4. Mix and cut through batter (like a marble cake) and pour rest of the batter and the rest of the topping and mix and cut again (lightly).

5. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
