Ingredients
- 1 C flour
- 1 C cornmeal
- 1 t salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 3 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 C milk
- 2 T sugar
- 1/4 C melted shortening

Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients and combine egg, milk and shortening. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened. Bake in greased 9" pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
