Pork Chops and Sour Cream Gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 boneless pork chops
  • Seasoned flour for dredging (flour, salt, pepper, dry mustard, garlic powder, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 8 oz. sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Dredge pork chops in seasoned flour and brown.

Layer chops in slow cooker with onion slices. Pour chicken broth over the top. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of flour into the sour cream until smooth. Stir sour cream into slow cooker and blend into the cooking juices. Raise the temperature to high for 15 to 30 minutes or until the liquid has thickened.
