Potato Gratin

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp light olive oil
  • 4 yellow onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp paprika



Step 1

Preheat oven to 400*.

Spray dish with cooking spray.

Place potatoes in saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to boil and cook until slices are tender. Drain and set aside.

While potatoes are cooking, in a large skillet, heat oil. Add onions and garlic, cook until onions are soft and begin to brown.

Spread thin layer of potatoes in prepared dish. Sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper.

Then top with a layer of onion mix.

Repeat layers twice, ending with onion mix.

Pour in milk and sprinkle paprika over top.

Bake 20 min.
