Limoncello pasta

  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 1/4 C. heavy cream
  • 1/4 C. limoncello
  • 2 lemons, 1 peeled and 1 zested
  • 1 C. basil leaves, torn
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 C. shredded parmesan

Cooking time 25mins


Step 1

1) prepare pasta to your preference

2) while pasta is cooking, combine garlic, cream limoncello and lemon peel in saucepan over md. high heat. bring to gentle boil, reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. remove garlic clove and lemon peel from pan and discard

3) add sauce to pasta. toss in basil, salt, pepper and parmesan. toss to combine
