Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semit sweet chocolate
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Step 1
In heavy saucepan, combine butter, sugar,w ater, and salt. Cook to hard crack stage (300) stirring constantly and watching carefully. Immediately pour onto ungreased cookie sheet. Cool til hard. Melt chocolate chips over hot mixture. Spread over toffee, sprink with nuts pressing theminto the chocolate. Let stand 2-3 hourse and chill. Break into bite size pieces.
