Oriental Beef Dinner

Ingredients

• 1-1 1/2 lb round steak
• 2 Tbsp oil
• 1 clove garlic
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1/4 cup soya sauce
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 can consomme soup
• 1 cup bean sprouts
• 1 cup canned tomatoes
• 2 green peppers cut into stripes
• 1 Tbsp cornstarch
• 2 Tbsp water
• 4 green onions
• 1 can mushrooms

Preparation

Step 1

Slice steak into narrow strips and brown.
Combine with garlic,salt,pepper,soya sauce,sugar and consomme. Simmer for 6-8 hours in crockpot.
Turn to high and add bean sprouts, canned tomatoes, green pepper and mushrooms. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water. Stir into pot and cover for 15-20 mins. Serve on rice and top with green onions
