  • Topping:
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1 pint Half and Half
  • 1/4 tsp Mace
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 loaf French Bread, sliced
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Dark Karo Syrup
  • 3/4 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 cup chopped Nuts (Pecans, Walnuts, Almonds)

Preparation

Step 1

Double layer Bread slices in greased 9x13 pan

Blend Eggs, Half and Half, Mace, Milk, Vanilla, Cinnamon and Nutmeg and pour over the bread

Refrigerate overnight

Mix topping ingredients and crumble over the bread. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes
