Chocolate Chip Cookies (Pillsbury Recipe)

Stacey's favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks), softened
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375. In large bowl, combine brown sugar, sugar, and butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg; blend well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.

Yields 3 dozen cookies.
