  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint oil (do not use extract)
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp evaporated milk
  • Chocolate for coating

Preparation

Step 1

Beat on low speed, the sugar, butter peppermint oil, vanilla and evaporated milk until combined. Increase speed to medium-high and beat until very creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until firm enough to roll into balls (about 30-60 minutes).

Roll the batter into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil that has been lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Flatten each ball with the palm of your hand until the patties are about 1 1/2 inces in diameter and 1/3 inch thick. Cover and place in the refrigerator until firm, about one hour.

Dip in prepared chocolate coating. Chill until firm. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to one month.
