Ingredients

  • Sauce
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 pounds top round or sirloin steak
  • 2 green peppers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1/3 pound whole mushrooms

Preparation

Step 1

Combine oil and other remaining ingredients including onion. Let stand. Cut steak into 1 inch cubes. Cover with sauce and let stand for 4 hours. Cube peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Alternate meat and vegetables on skewers.
Cook over hot coals basting with marinade.
