Ingredients

  • One 5 lb. bag flour
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 1 Cup Whole Milk
  • 12 Eggs
  • 2 Package Yeast
  • 2 TBS Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Heat Milk and butter together
Mix together Flour, Sugar, Cinnamon and Yeast
Add 12 beaten eggs
Add warm butter and Milk this will proof yeast so make sure it’s warm.
If dough is sticky add more flour
If Dough will not come together use warm water wet hands or add to dough to bring together.
Roll into large ball put in bowl, cover and allow to raise 8 hours
Push dough down, roll back into ball cover and allow to raise again 3-4 hours.

Raise dough over night
Push down and allow to raise a second time.
Now cut pieces of dough off large risen ball of dough and make Dolls.

Take piece of Dough and roll out
Form a 24 inch long log. about 4 inches round.
Cross at top placing RAW EGG in shell at top and criss cross or braid dough. You can braid a bread in a circle as well.
Put dolls on baking tray cover place in warm place allowing them to raise for the last time 1 hour.
