Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 quart scalded milk
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbs vanilla
  • 1 stick butter
  • Topping
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Add bread crumbs to milk soak for 15 minutes. Add sugar salt and slightly beaten eggs and butter. Mix well.
Place in greased pan bake for 75 minutes at 350.

Mix all ingredients for topping except vanilla. Cook till thick then add vanilla.
