Ingredients
- Oatmeal cookies:
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 oz. package chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/4 cup oats
- 1 tablespoon milk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg. Combine flour and baking soda; blend into creamed mixture. Add
vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop
rounded tablespoonfuls of dough about 2 inches
apart onto greased cookies sheets. Bake 13 to 15
minutes.
For cookie bars:
Put dough in 7x11 glass pan and bake for 25 minutes.
