Ingredients
- 2 lbs. cream cheese
- 1 1/2 C. sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten lightly
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 T. cornstarch
- 3 T. flour
- 1/4 lb. butter, melted
- 1 pint sour cream
Preparation
Step 1
1) cream the cheese in bowl. gradually add sugar. add eggs and beat well.
2) stir in lemon juice, vanilla, cornstarch and flour. add the butter and mix til smooth. blend in sour cream
3) pour into a greased and floured 9" spring pan. bake in preheated oven at 325 until firm, about 1 hour; turn off heat and let cake remain in oven for 2 more hours. when cooled, top with fruit if desired
