Talitha Anne's Microwave Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds apples
  • Dash cinnamon (or more to taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • Water or apple cider or apple juice if necessary

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and core apples. Cut into quarters and place in the largest microwave-proof bowl you have that fits into your microwave. If you have only smaller bowls you may have to cook in two batches. Add cinnamon and sugar. Microwave on high for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. If applesauce is soft and the consistency you like, you're done. If not, cook it longer. If it's too thick, add juice or water by the Tablespoonful until it's right.
