Fast Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

• OPTIONAL:
• 1 Can Contadina Tomato Sauce
• 1 Can Contadina Tomato Paste
• 1 Cup Chicken Broth (use clam if you are making clam sauce or beef if making meat sauce)
• 1 Tbs Italian Seasoning (I use "Spice Island")
• 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
• 1 Tsp Onion Powder
• 1 Tsp Sugar
• 2 Tbs Evoo
• 1/4 Small Green Pepper
• 1/4 Small Onion
• 1 Clove Garlic, minced
• Fresh Mushrooms
• Ground Beef
• Sausage

Preparation

Step 1

Heat EVOO over medium high heat and add onion, garlic and green pepper. Saute until slightly soft. (If using ground beef or sausage add at this point and brown)

Add all other ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes stirring frequently.
