Ingredients
- Mix:
- 4 qt.zucc. – Cut into 3/8” chunks - peel and remove seeds
- 6 med onions – sliced
- 3 garlic cloves – crushed
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- Soak vegetables in ½ c salt and water and cracked ice - 3 to 4 hours
- 3 c vinegar
- 5 c sugar
- 1 ½ tsp. turmeric
- 2 T mustard seeds
- 1 ½ tsp celery seed
- Heat to boiling – drain vegetables and add. Simmer about 5 minutes – do not BOIL.
