  • 1 package lemon cake mix
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding, eggs, water and oil; heat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Fold in poppy seeds. Transfer to a greased and floured 13x9in. baking pan.

Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

For frosting, combined powdered sugar, water and lemon juice; drizzle over cake.
