Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- salt, pepper and onion to taste
- 3-8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 8 oz medium wide noodles
- 2-3 oz package cream cheese
- 1 1/2 C cottage cheese
- 6 T sour cream and chives
- 2 T chopped green pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Brown ground beef in drippings and pour off excess fat. Stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat. Cook noodles until tender in salt water. Drain. Combine cheeses and sour cream, beat until smooth. Stir into drained noodles. Add green pepper. Turn noodle mixture into greased 9" x 13" pan. Pour meat mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees 35-45 minutes. Let stand 9-10 minutes before serving.
