Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 1 large can pet milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Make white roux with butter and flour. Add crabmeat to roux and let cook on low fire. In blender add pet milk, mushroom soup, onion, celery, garlic powder and worcestershire sauce . Pour mixture in with crabmeat and mix well. Salt and pepper to taste. Let cook for 1 to 2 hours. Place in fondue pot or chafing dish. Serve warm with crackers.

If using a slow cooker, mix all ingredients well as above and put in slow cooker on low for 1 hour.
