Ingredients
- 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 package (6 ounces) cornbread stuffing mix with seasoning packet
- 3 chicken breasts, split (about 2 1/2 pounds)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon browning sauce (like Kitchen Bouquet)
- 1 can (10 1/2 ounce) chicken gravy
Preparation
Step 1
In 12x8-inch dish, combine water, 1/2 cup butter and seasoning packet. Microwave at *high* 3 1/2 to 4 minutes; stir in stuffing crumbs. Arrange chicken on stuffing with meatier portions toward edge of dish.
Brush with melted butter, mixed with browning sauce. Cover with wax paper. Microwave at *high* 12 to 13 minutes, or until chicken is done. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
