Savory grilled artichokes

Ingredients

  • 4 artichokes
  • 1/4 C balsamic vinegar
  • 1 //4 C water
  • 1/4 soy sauce
  • 1/4 C olive oil
  • 1 T minced ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation

Step 1

Cook artichokes. Let cool and cut in half lengthwise. Remove fuzzy core. Mix ingredients and place in bag with artichokes. Marinate in refrigerator 1 hour or overnight. Grill cut side down until lightly brown 5-7 minutes. Turn artichokes over and drizzle with marinade. Continue grilling until tips of leaves are charred.
