Ingredients
- 5 lbs potatoes
- 2 - 3oz pkgs cream cheese
- 1 c sour cream
- 2 tsp onion salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tlbs butter or margarine
- Ingredients for half of a recipe
- 2 1/2 lbs potatoes
- 1 3oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 tlsb butter
Preparation
Step 1
Cook peeled potatoes in boiling salted water till tender, then drain.
Mash till smooth
Add remaining ingredients and beat till light & fluffy, cool
Half recipe makes 8 cups - Cover and place in refrigerator - may be used anytime within 2 weeks.
To Use: Place desire amount in greased casserole. Dot with butter and bake at 350 degrees till heated through - about 30 minutes
Note - if you use full amount heat in a 2 quart caserole and dot with 2 tlbs butter - serves 12
