Ingredients
- 1 pound dried great Northern beans, soaked overnight
- 1/2 pound cooked ham, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- water to cover
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine the beans, ham, brown sugar, onion powder, parsley, garlic, salt and pepers in slow cooker.
2. Pour enough water into slow cooker to cover the mixture by about 2 inches.
3. Cook 12 hours, stirring occasionally
