Creamy Cucumber Dill Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Hothouse (seedless) cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium sweet yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup miracle whip
  • Approximately 3/4 cup of half-n-half, to thin out miracle whip
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. of dried dill weed
  • 2 Tbls. of apple cider vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and slice thin cuc's and then sprinkle salt on them. Let stand for 15 to 30 minutes then drain off water. I put sliced thin sweet onions in mine but you can leave them out if you don't like onions.

Mix 1/2 cup miracle whip and a good 3/4 cup of half-n-half, tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp of dried dill weed, and 2 tbls. of apple cider vinegar. Taste and if you need it more sour add a little more vinegar.

Pour over cucs and let set for at least 30 min.
This is not accurate but with practice you can get an A+!
