Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients well and bake in unbaked pie shell 45 minutes in 375-degree oven.

Doubling this recipe yields 3 regular (not deep-dish) pies.
