Madeira Cake

Ingredients

  • 250 grams flour
  • 5 grams baking powder
  • 185 grams sugar
  • 150 grams butter
  • 5 grams salt
  • 150 grams eggs
  • 30 grams milk
  • 5 grams vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Place all the ingredeints in t a mixing bowl and mix on low speed just until blended. Adjust speed to medium low and bat for one minute.

Bake cake 1 -1 1/2 hours.

This type of cake resembles a pound cake and is a good base for decorating.

For variety, coconut, fruit, or nuts may be stirred into the batter after mixing.
