Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup icing sugar
- 2 cups sifted flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup finely chopped almonds
- 1 tsp vanilla
- candied cherries

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, gradually add sugar; add flour and salt sifted together. Then add almonds and vanilla. This will make a fairly stiff dough. Roll about a tablespoon of it around a glazed cherry. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 325 for 15 to 20 minutes. While warm, roll lightly in icing sugar.
