- 2 oz. basil
- 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- You may need to double or triple this recipe
Place the basil, garlic, pine nuts, cheese, and ground black pepper in a blender. Turn the blender on and pour in the olive oil in a slow stream. Puree the basil until it becomes a smooth sauce.
