  • 1 whole salmon filet
  • 2-3 lemons
  • 2+ tablespoons capers
  • Dill (fresh 4 stalks or dried 1 tablespoon or to taste)
  • Olive oil
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • Ground pepper
  • Sour cream or real mayonnaise



Step 1

Rub tin foil for a packet with olive oil. Place filet in tin foil.
Slice lemons VERY thin (sharp knife) and cover the filet with the slices. Pour the wine over the filet. Sprinkle dried dill or lay stalks of fresh dill on the filet. Sprinkle capers on top. Ground pepper to taste. Close the tin foil and make a packet. Place packet in an oven proof dish or baking pan and bake at 350 for about ½ hour to 45 minutes depending on thickness… you can open packet to check for doneness.
YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO EAT THE LEMON SLICES so serve the fish with the slices still on it. Top with a dollop of sour cream or mayonnaise.
