- 1 1/2 CUPS CONF SUGAR
- 2 TBSP COCOA POWDER
- 1/2 TSP GD. ALLSPICE
- 1/2 CUP DARK RUM
- 2 TBSP LIGHT CORN SYRUP
- 2 1/2 CUPS FINELY CRUSHED VANILLA WAFERS
- 1 CUP FINELY CHOPPED TOASTED WALNUTS

Step 1
SIFT TOGETHER 1 CUP CONF SUGAR,COCOA POWDER
& ALLSPICE - STIR IN RUM AND SYRUP - STIR IN
VANILLA WAFERS AND WALNUTS,MIX WELL
PUT IN FRIG TO FIRM UP - ABOUT 30 MINS.
PLACE REMAINING 1/2 CUP SUGAR IN SHALLOW BOWL -
PRESS CHOCOLATE MIXTURE INTO 1 INCH BALLS -
ROLL IN CONF SUGAR TO COAT
PLACE ON COATED BAKE SHEET AND REFRIGERATE
OVER NIGHT - STORE IN AIRTIGHT CONTAINERS
